Darrang College Tezpur Vacancy for Assistant Professor: Applications are invited from Indian citizen for filling up following Sanctioned vacant posts ofAssistant Professor in the revised pay band + AGP Rs. 15,600 - 39,100 + AGP 6000 with other allowances as per rule as admissible time to time.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have UGC norms with NET / SLET / SET Degree as mandatory required qualification. Candidates who obtained M.Phil degree on or before 10-7-2009 may also apply for the post excluding the candidates obtained M.Phil / Ph.D. Degree from off campus centre. However, the candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. degree) regulatory 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET / SLET/ SET for requirement and appointment of Assistant Professor.  

The Candidates must have a Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) and must know local language. Applications failing to fulfill the requirements will be rejected.

Age:The age of the candidate should not be more than 38 years as on 01-01-2015 and relaxable up to 5 years for SC / ST candidates. Candidates who are in service must apply through proper channel.
