BSF Recruitment for HC, CT, and SI for 230 posts: Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF), New Delhi has released notification for the recruitment of 230 SI (Workshop, Master, Engine Driver), HC (Master, Engine Driver, Workshop), CT (Crew) vacancies on temporary basis. Eligible candidates may apply in the prescribed application format within 30 days from the date of advt & 45 days for remote areas.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 22-28 years for post 1-ii, iii, 20-25 years for all posts as on the last date for receipt of application. Age relaxation is applicable 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC & for Ex-servicemen/ Govt servants & for Other special categories as per the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering for post 1-i, 10+2/ equivalent for post 1-ii, iii, Matriculation for post 2, 3.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test, documentation & physical measurement, physical efficiency test, trade test, interview, medical examination.

Application/ Examination Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 50/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) in the name of the addressee where the application form is being submitted by the candidate. No fee for SC/ ST/ BSF/ Ex-servicemen candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in the prescribed format affixing recent passport size photograph on it along with signed admit card affixing recent passport size photograph on it, attested copies of all relevant certificates, one recent passport size photograph attested by gazetted officer, two self addressed envelopes with postal stamps worth Rs. 39/- each, DD to the respective centres as given in the notification within 30 days from the date of advt & 45 days for remote areas. Superscribe the envelope as “Application for the post of SI (Workshop)/ SI (Engine Driver)/ SI (Master)/ HC (Master)/ HC (Engine Driver)/ HC (Workshop)/ CT (Crew) in BSF Water Wing”.
